After not sleeping well on my first mission trip to Guatemala in 2014 I discovered aromatherapy for natural sleep support.

Now I sleep 7 – 9 hours each night.

I was so excited to travel to Central America to teach lost souls about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how He sacrificed His life to save them (and me) from their sin.

I rejoiced with the angels in heaven when some of our students were baptized into Christ for the remission of their sins.

I loved meeting the people, seeing the culture, learning some Spanish words and studying Scripture with souls eager to learn the truth of the Gospel.

I was like a kid in a candy store!

I only slept about 2 hours each night the entire 2 weeks we were there. I was exhausted, but grateful.

We started our days about 6 am and ended about 11 pm.

When I returned home to the US, I researched natural sleep remedies and aromatherapy (diffusing and applying essential oils to the body) kept coming up in my search.

Over the years I have learned about the quality of essential oils, read scientific data stating the positive effects of aromatherapy on the human body, and how to safely use aromatherapy.

Now, essential oils/aromatherapy is a part of my daily life, from the time I wake up in the morning until I go to bed I night.

I diffuse, apply oils topically to my body and take premium quality supplements infused with essential oils to support my health and sleep.

I wake up feeling refreshed and with a positive mood ready to start my day.

Learn more about essential oils and how to use them in my blog series.
