There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 NKJV
A blessing of being IN Christ Jesus is that believers, who have an obedient faith and have been baptized (immersed in water according to God’s commandment and examples in the New Testament) for the remission of their sins are FREE from ANY stronghold.
2 Corinthians 5:3 – 7 NKJV
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
The power of God is THE way to overcome emotional strongholds.
I fight the spiritual battle of emotional strongholds with prayer, God’s Holy Spirit and Scripture.
I encourage you to memorize these verses, write them, meditate on them day and night and recite them out loud.
There are also physical tools to help with emotional strongholds.
3 physical tools I use to overcome emotional strongholds are:
1. Aromatherapy – When you inhale an essential oil, it has properties that support your brain and emotions. It impacts your limbic system – a complex network of nerves in the brain that support emotion, behavior, and smell
2. Journaling – to process my thoughts, feelings, and emotions
3. Fitness – moving my body daily helps to clear my mind and manage my emotions naturally
How do you manage your emotions?
