Today is Movement 

Do you have low-energy days where you don’t feel like getting off the couch to move your body?

Movement can be fun and feel good. 

It can help you walk up and down stairs more easily, get up from a seated position without struggle, benefit your brain and heart, and improve mood, mobility, and quality of sleep.

Here are some ideas for daily movement:

  • Walk around the block
  • Garden
  • Stretch
  • Work on balance (stability ball, yoga, tai chi)
  • Take a class with a friend
  • Lift weights to strengthen muscles
